Not What I Said...

So... I said that, upon my return, my post would feature several artists I admire for various reasons. This post does not deliver on what I said. The task of compiling sample works, contacting them for permission, expressing in words that do justice to what I admire about them, and getting it all to finally format nicely, has been a task I can't seem to get slipped in between other things right now. For that, I do apologize... know that I *will* do this soon. I have not forgotten.

Though I've been "blog-absent," I've thought of you often... I very much appreciate you guys and it felt wrong to go on without saying something to you, even just a brief update to say "hi" to old friends (and new ones)! Since I don't have the words or time to properly share the story (lots of transition and growth... good, though, I think)...

I leave this "update" to a photo I took recently, and the words of one far more eloquent than I...

The Road Not Taken- Robert Frost

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Hey Beholden, We all get sidetracked sometimes, I know I have for several months(lol). Just take care of yourself.

I've thought about putting other artists on my site as well, I know it is a bit of task.

In the meantime, Take care.

I have also, but just doing a small blog on 1MK has been chore.

SO I might have to recycle a blog post.

That is one awesome photograph

Hi Kenna
Great photo!! We understand that it can be hard to find time to do everything we want to do sometimes, but as long as you are happy and healthy, allthe rest will fit in as and when..... looking forward to seeing more from you sometime soon
